Week 1✔️

Slly week is over! So is my 1st week in college! I had so many different emotions, it was very overwhelming at times! The week started out being all fun and games until I realized I was not prepared! It took me for a shocker, I thought I was well prepared but soon to find out I wasn't! Going into a class with 600 students is scaryyy!!! I feel like an ant.

Of course I had to take an annual back to school pic! Here's a few with my roomie!!

The first couple of days were just overwhelming. All of my classes were between 400-600 people. My goal each class was to make one friend and get there contact info, in case I missed class!!!! I have made some really good friends so far!!! Miss my besties back home but I'm glad I have a good group of girls so far! Every nite I had a different meeting, event, outing to go to as well as homework! Definitely learned how to manage my time this week! Wednesday nite I had my first Eller Elite meeting, which was very scary! Had to dress up all business like and look professional (classy bathroom selfie).

Friday came along, and I was so ecstatic to be done for the week needed to catch up on sleep and recuperate. Early this week I got a little sick but I'm recovered now!! Friday nite was U of A's football team scrimmage! We all know I love football!!!!!! Got a taste of what the games will be like, starting this SATURDAY!! Couldn't be more excited, plus my bestie is coming down!!! It was bitter sweet standing down at the edge of the field, it made me think of Friday nites back in high school but this was 1000 X'S cooler!

(Didnt get any photos from this weekend)
This weekend did go by extremely fast! Saturday got up early, went to go get smoothies with friends and then did homework. Spent over 8 hours doing homework Saturday but Saturday nite was one to remember, well worth the long hours of studying! Sunday, explored Tucson a little bit, shopped a little, and hung out with some of the girls in my dorm! Ohhhhh and also did my second load of laundry, all by myself! Proud yet, mom!!! Headed off to bed! New week starts tomorrow! Just praying I did all of my homework that's due, double, tripled check, but you can never be too sure.

Hopefully this week goes even smoother!
Goodnite all, love you!!

1st day as an adult....

Holy guacamole!
Today was not as I expected it to be. My 1st official day as an adult! Yesterday I said goodbye to parents, friends, and were off on my own now! Woke up this morning, the 1st thing I do is grab my phone. Soon realized my phone had been glitching all nite long. It was shut off, couldn't press buttons, so immediately panic! I'm a young adult and I basically live off my phone! Went to the front desk, asked if campus had something similar to AppleCare. Kind young gentleman said, we might but they will charge u double the cost. Cost was not a problem at that moment it was getting the phone fix! So my roomie and I head down to the Union to get some breakfast! Expecting many restaurants to be open... I was wrong! The only breakfast place was enstein bagels...I will say it wasn't near as good as hot bagel! Ohhh how I miss that place!! We waited in line forever to get our breakfast and then headed down to the bookstore to ask about my phone! Come to find out they only are able to work on iPads, computer... not iPhone. Go back to my room helpless... call mom and dad and finally got a apple support phone number to call. Which I was very adult about until, after an hour, 2 different tech people trying to figure the problem out I started bawling. I didn't feel helpless, I was helpless. After had been on for 2 hours decided to go to a Verizon store, since the 1 Apple Store was 25 min drive... no way I was gonna walk that!! So dad called an Uber!!!! My first Uber ride alone, ohh so scary!! I was fine, he was so nice and friendly!!! Got to the Verizon store and was immediately helped out.... told him what was going on, he had no idea, took it to the boss, boss had no idea. They said my best bet was to go to the Apple Store..... so asked to barrow a phone since mine wasn't working! Had to call dad back, for him to call and Uber for me! Next, I was off on the 25 min to the Apple Store! Expected non the less but the Apple Store was packedddd. One tech guy came up to me and said what's wrong u look stressed.... I said don't get me started!😂 Proceeded to make an appointment, only availability was an hour and 15 mins later! So I booked it!! Took that time to collect myself, and shopped around! The mall was actually really cute!! Mom would be proud, I didn't buy anything!!! Those 75 mins felt like a life time. Appointment came around, long story short.... Apple genius' still don't understand what was going on with my phone,  got a new phone and slowly getting everything back on it! Today I didn't have a proper working phone until 4, took 3 Ubers rides alone, cried for hours, talked to 5 different apple geniuses, shopped  and didn't even buy anything! How on earth did people function in the past, couldn't call for help, send text, check emails, take pictures, gps my next location..... moral my experience, I AM TRUELYYYY BLESSED TO HAVE A PHONE THAT WOKRS! 🙏🏽

I am exhausted, if this is what adulting is I rather opt out!

My Next Adventure has begun!!!!

Welcome to my blog!!!!! I’ve decided to start a blog as a way of communicating with all of my friends and family! So you guys can see what I’m up too, when I’m away. My first big adventure in life was Our Royal Adventure, when we moved overseas for a few years. Expecting we would move back to Missouri but ended up in Arizona. Onto our next adventure, Our Royally Hot Adventure. Today marks my first day as an adult! I’ve officially moved into college, said goodbyes to family, and the past week had to say goodbyes to some of my best friends. All has been very stressful and sad!

For the past year everything has been leading up to this moment, moving into college and out of the house. Where to begin? I can remember the exact moment I decided to go to the University of Arizona. We were in Cali for Memorial day weekend, Mom and Dad blocked the exit to the hotel room and made me make the decision right then and there. All my life I had my heart set on Mizzou, I would’ve been 4th generation but god had other plans! But that was before we moved. What a crazy experience my past 18 years have been. Everything that has happened in the past, has happened for a specific reason.

Wednesday night, I had to say goodbye to my youth group. I have only been with them a little over a year, but it seems so much longer. I have found some of my best friends there, lifelong friends, people who I can count on when I’m down, people to give me guidance when I am loss. The adults there have helped me become the young adult I am today, as well as my parents. All of the leaders have been there since day one: coffee dates, late night phone calls, many laughs as well as many cries. For that I am forever thankful. I will miss everyone at that church, each one of them has a special place in my heart. I love you all.

IM OFFICIALLY MOVED IN!!! The past 24 hours have been crazy! Packed up everything into the range, plus a cart on the back, plus a storage container on the top! Think that’s too much stuff? Nah! Dad believes I did, Mom said I was fine, plus the unloaders said I didn’t have the most stuff!!! Huge thanks goes to dad and not so little bro, for helping unload and set up everything! Couldn’t have done it without them! I’m simply in love with the room. It does feel like home! If anyone wants to watch a movie or make some coffee, come on over! I love it! See pics below!!!!

Just want to put this disclaimer out there, this blog is just for fun! I am not majoring in English, so let’s not judge my spelling and all the grammar mistakes I will make a ton! I hope this gives you all a little insight to my new adventure, hence the blog being called MY NEXT ADVENTURE!
Just another thank you for everyone in my life. Huge shoutout goes to my parents for never giving up on me, and continuing to love me even when I fail. I would not be where I am now without any of you guys. I am truly blessed and cant wait to share it with you guys. Love and Miss you sooo much!
