It was really different being back home..... relationships have changed some for the better some for the worse. But hey it's life! I was very excited to come back to the University, i missed my friends here like crazy!!! I honestly consider them my family!!!!!
The first week back was very unusual, everyone was in a funk including myself. I had a blast catching up with everyone and meeting new people. This is officially our first full week back Monday-Friday, which is going to be painful. Past 2 weeks we haven't had a monday yet! Since the first day 1 have been struggling! School has been ridiculously hard, not because I'm not prepared or not studying hard enough just the course loads. I'm taking 18 credits this semester..... Calculus, Spanish 205, Weather n Climate, Math 196K (help for calc), Business communications, Economics, as well as clubs!!! This semster is sooo much more difficult! But i'm not going to give up - i'm using my resources, trying to work exceptionally hard but sometimes i just can't. I always strive to get straight A'a but this semster i've had to come to the realizations that, that probably isn't going to happen and it's okay..... i wish it wasn't but you can see my schedule!!! Not only have classes been hard but i'm still in a funk, i just can't explain it! But hopefully with time it will go away! My friendships are closer than ever, busier than ever, mkre nervous than ever before, I've been working out at the gym, and trying to balance social life with school work but i'm exhausted all the time!
Keep me in your prayers - this semester is going to be rough! I have an interview this Wednesday for an RA position and i'm extremely excited for the possibility to become one next year! (Roughly 500 apply and 125 get the position)
Here's a few pics since semester begun!!!
Okay well that's a quick update!!! Miss you and love you guys!!!!
Love the pics and sounds like you are fitting back in. Sounds like you also have a lot of credits and that's going to be a lot of pressure but I have faith you can do it.
ReplyDeleteWe love you. Hang in there!

Well you are back at it again. You always thrive when the going gets tough. We know you can do whatever you set your mind to. It is hard to be so far away from family and admittedly you all are a very close family.
ReplyDeleteRemember that people change all the time. As you say some good and some not so good, but that is how life goes it is hard to think things will be the same and it really not. You have a great head on your shoulder and will make the right decision with friends.
Glad you are getting settled in a little more and miss your friends there at college. You make being friends with you easy.
Good luck on the RA position, if upper classman were to get the position, just remember they have put in their time and yours will come later. You would handle it beautifully no problem there.
Keep your chin up and remember "You've got this girl". We love you and are behind you 100%.
Love,
Grandpa & Grandma Caldwell
