Family Weekend 2017

Family Weekend has come and gone! It was bitter sweet! It was great catching up and hanging out with another but sad to say goodbye. I miss my siblings sooo much! I don't however miss being pestered but being able to jam out in the car with Dawson going on late nite drives, doing Sadie's hair every morning and taking her on ice cream dates! I wish I could say they seem more mature but......  they both get too excited when they get to see me, as do I! But its back to reality as much as they are apart of  my life, they aren't apart of my normal everyday routine.
College is definitely hard. You are on your own, no family around you, strangers everywhere, crappy food, and deal with the "typical" college kids on a daily basis. Wanting to become independent, do things on your own yet you have something holding you back, which sucks. Trying to balance the good and the bad, but its hard. When your not in class your at a meeting or a club, when your studying your sleeping, when you finally get time to relax, you get deep into your thoughts and start to contemplate everything.
The next 2 weeks are going to be the busiest weeks I've had so far. Finishing up Mid-terms, finishing 4 different papers, 2 projects, 3 different study sessions, my typical meetings everyday, but an event every nite for the next 2 weeks. Thanks to all my organizations this Halloween season is crazy! Praying I keep my spirits up both physically and emotionally.

I honestly miss you guys so much. Thanksgiving can't come fast enough! 5 more weeks! I want to see soooo many of you in my short time!! Give me a call, I always want to talk and catch up! I hope all is going well for you!
Love you!

  1. Hi there Chloe,
I know it is kind of a bitter sweet time to see your family and know that you have to say Good bye. Luckily, you are only a short distance and they can get to you in a matter of a couple hours or so. It has been hard on Sadie and Dawson to have you not at home. They really depend on you and of course love that you can take them places and do things with them.

I hope the next weeks go well and to remember to take it one day at a time. It all works out in the end and you will ace it all.

We have a lot of faith in you and know that you are doing so well. Just think of all the friends you have made since you have been there. One thing we always see a smile on your face and also your friends. So you have got this girl. We are so proud of you. These next five weeks will be busy but they will go by quickly. Remember take time to smell the roses and take care of YOU all the other stuff will work out.

    We love you,
    Grma & Grpa Caldwell

  2. You've almost made it through your first semester and that is quite an accomplishment. You have a lot on your plate and I'm amazed you're balancing it all. We are all just so proud of you and everything you are doing. I know it feels overwhelming so just keep tackling one challenge at a time and, before you know it, you're through!

    Love you
